With three games remaining in the Serie A season, Juventus need to get maximum points to stand a chance of making Europe, and host Chievo Verona on Monday night.
Prior to kick-off Juventus sit in 7th place, four points behind Lazio in 4th and with Udinese and Roma in the places above them. Luigi Del Neri’s side have had a poor season but have put together a run of better form to push towards European qualification. I Bianconeri recorded an excellent 1-0 win over Lazio in their last game away from home, with Simone Pepe getting an 88th minute winner. Along with Chievo, the Turin club also have to take on Parma and Napoli in their remaining fixtures.
Chievo sit in 12th place on 42 points prior to the weekend’s fixtures and will look to push for a top half finish. Stefano Pioli’s side beat Lecce 1-0 in their last league game, with Luca Rigoni getting the all important goal. I Gialloblu have only won one of their last six away games however and are generally better at home than on the road.
This is a must win for Juve and they will go all out to win and keep pressure on their rivals; my Serie A football betting tip is a 2-1 win for Juve.
