Hamsik Shines as Slovakia Beat Russia
Napoli star, Marek Hamsik finally showing his potential for Slovakia as he lead them in grabbing their first Euro 2016 victory, defeating Russia 2-1. Hamsik played a part in both of his nation's goal, creating the first one from Vladimir Weiss, before eventually netting his second with a wonderful shot.

Russia Not Expecting an Easy Tie Against Slovakia

England Bitter With Draw Against Russia
England missed out on the opportunity to start their Euro 2016 campaign with all three points after being held into a 1-1 draw by Russia this weekend. Three Lions' coach, Roy Hodgson, admitted that the result was a bitter pill to swallow for his team especially since they conceded a very late goal after dominating most of that tie.
