The Brazil home and away kits for World Cup 2010 have now been released and are expected to sell extremely well in time for the tournament. The five time World Cup winners are looking to achieve success this summer in South Africa and will be wanting to win the tournament for the 6th time, to continue their World Cup dominance over the years.
Brazil have many key players at their disposal, including Julio Cesar, Lucio, Maicon, Pato, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Nilmar, Robinho, Luis Fabiano and Dani Alves, who will all be looking to improve the team’s chances in the competition. Let’s now take a look into the 2010 Brazil World Cup shirts.
The Brazil home shirt will be worn by the team between 2010 and 2012 and is the traditional yellow colour, which has been made by Nike. The player number goes in the middle and is green. The jersey has a green collar and a green stripe on the sleeves that goes to the shoulders. It is fairly reminiscent of the shirt Brazil wore for World Cup ’98 in France and it has blue shorts with white sides and white socks with a green horizontal stripe to go with it. On a green oval at the back of the neck, the text ‘BRASIL’ will appear in yellow.
The Brazil away shirt is predominantly blue and is manufactured by Nike. It uses Dri-Fit technology to enhance comfortably and performance for players. The shirt has a yellow stripe on each shoulder and a yellow collar. The Nike tick is yellow and there are yellow dots all over the jersey. The text ‘BRASIL’ is on the back of the neck. The away shorts are white and the socks are predominantly blue.
