Magical return for Cazorla at Villarreal

The journey has come full circle for a delighted Santi Cazorla, who was given a unique presentation to celebrate his return to boyhood club, Villarreal.
While many eyes were glued to the frenzy of activity during the English transfer deadline day on Thursday 9th August, over in Spain, Villarreal fans officially welcomed the arrival of former Arsenal star, Santi Cazorla, who has signed a one-year contract with the option of an additional season.
A crowd of around 4,500 expectant supporters eagerly watched on in the main stand at Estadio de la Ceramica, whilst out on the pitch, magician and illusionist Yunke waved his hands before a man-sized glass tube, which filled with smoke.
As the smoke cleared to the applause of the crowd, Cazorla appeared, leaving everyone mystified how the magical feat had been performed, with the player sporting a beaming smile as he stepped out of the glass tube to wave at the fans.

Villarreal will no doubt be buoyed by the return of Cazorla. For anyone unfamiliar with Spanish football betting, making the most of free bet offers from companies like Betfair and Ladbrokes via Timeform might be a good way to back the Spanish side achieving a top-six finish in LaLiga this season, having done so habitually over the last five campaigns.
After the magical presentation of Cazorla, the 33-year-old club icon spent time signing autographs and having photos taken with fans, before appearing at a press conference alongside Villarreal club president, Fernando Roig, delighted to welcome the player back for his third spell with the team.
“Today it’s time to forget all the bad things that have happened and for him to enjoy himself again,” said Roig, delighted “to have Santi Cazorla back after everything he’s been through,” after fears the midfielder might never play football again, after a career-threatening Achilles tendon injury.
