Experiencing a quite successful loan spell with Leeds United in England Championship division this season, Kyle Bartley believes that returning to Swansea City will be his next destination.
Nearing the end of footballing season, speculation regarding players’ future often being subjects to lots of speculation or even betting, which notably includes what will happen to Bartley.
Talking more about Bartley, the defender has been putting on an excellent performance with Leeds in Championship division, but that doesn’t seem to trigger him into staying at Elland Road.
Confirming the matter himself in a recent interview, the defender said that returning to Swansea is an almost certain destination, noting that so far he doesn’t have other options.
Albeit enjoying his time at Leeds, Bartley seemingly said goodbye towards his teammates along with devoted fans, knowing that this weekend tie will most likely be his last for Gary Monk’s side.
Nevertheless, only having one more year left from his contract with The Swans right after this current season, there’s always an opportunity for the defender to play at Elland Road next summer.
Obviously, majority of The Whites’ devotees would love to see Bartley play with them again next summer, but until any significant steps are being made, the 25-year-old will return to Swansea first.
Finishing the season sitting seventh with three points shy of final play offs spot, Leeds can consider themselves of having a solid season and part of if due to good defensive work done by them.
Naturally, Bartley’s partnership with Pontus Jansson is a big part of that defensive work as they are the main duo at the back, who are also fans favorite.
