First off, safe bet alert! Reading, poor relegation zone Reading take on the mighty mighty Manchester (the United one) and when you consider that one of the sides is the bookies favourites to win the Premier League this year, and the other is hotly fancied to be relegated there SUERLY can only be one winner. Just in case I need to spell it out for you I am tipping Manchester united to beat Reading on Saturday in the English Premier League.
There’s also another London derby that you might want to dip your EPL betting toe in.
Fulham take on Tottenham Hotspur and I think that the most obvious call for this one, considering Spurs form and Fulham’s home advantage is a score-draw. Plenty of Premier League betting will favour Spurs in this one, but knowing what I know about Craven Cottage I think Spurs will not be as comfortable in a different London postcode as their fans would like them to be.
Who would have thought that Newcastle V Wigan would be a six pointer, but after a terrible run of results (four successive league defeats) the Geordies are 14th in the table and level on points with Monday night’s opponents, Wigan Athletic.
Finally, my spidey senses are all of a tingle with the thought of goals goals and yet more goals when Liverpool host Southampton. The Scousers have struggled to find form this season but now (finally) look like they have re-discovered winning, excusing Wednesday defeat by Spurs, and we KNOW that they can score goals when the mood takes them.
Southampton are just the sort of recently promoted side who could be sheep to the scoring slaughter at cauldron Anfield. I’m betting on Liverpool scoring a hatful against the Saints, but if you don’t fancy betting on a goal heavy game please follow my football betting tip and back a Liverpool win.
