The last time Inter Milan came to the Camp Nou was in the 2002-03 season. Barça, managed at the time by Radomir Antic, beat the Italians (managed by Héctor Cúper) 3-0, the goals coming from Kluivert, Cocu and Javier Saviola.

With two points separating all four clubs, this is the most tightly contested section of the competition. FC Internazionale Milano lead the way and will look to strengthen their place at the summit when they travel to face holders Barcelona, whose interest in the tournament could come to an abrupt end. For that to happen, second-placed FC Rubin Kazan, who lead Barça on head-to-head record but are one point behind the Nerazzurri, need to overcome visitors FC Dynamo Kyiv and Inter must emerge victorious at Camp Nou. Should that occur, both Inter and Rubin would be certain of advancing.
